For beginners, the mouth of the Saguenay Fjord near Tadoussac is an ideal place to be introduced to sea kayaking as the beach is easily accessible and the bay is sheltered, making it relatively safe.  This sector is also a great place to observe belugas and minke whales as well as to admire the steep escarpments of the Saguenay Fjord.

Enjoy a full day of discovering on the Saguenay fjord. Appreciate beautiful landscapes, steep cliffs, lovely fall and cove while paddeling to the Anse à la Barque. From there put your shoes on and hike up the hill. Healthy lunch is provided at the top with an amazing view on the fjord. The way back is soft and the day finishes on the water up to the beach of Tadoussac.
