The mission of Mer et Monde Écotours is to provide people with the opportunity to commune with nature while enjoying a relaxing sea kayaking experience.  For over 20 years, Mer et Monde Écotours has been offering guided sea kayaking activities so visitors can discover the unique marine environment of the St. Lawrence Estuary.

Mer et Monde Écotours has won regional Québec tourism awards (Grands prix du tourisme québécois) in 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2009 as well as a sustainable development award in 2004 and a national silver award in 2008.  It is renewned for the quality f its services, the safety of its activities, its professionalism and its commitment to preserving the marine environment.
