Description
Let's combine sea kayaking and hiking on this beautiful day. From the rendezvous on the beach in Tadoussac, we head towards Anse à la Barque at high tide. There, we put on our hiking boots to reach a summit of the Fjord-du-Saguenay National Park, Mount Adela-Lessard.
Then, from the top of this breathtaking view on the fjord, we enjoy a healthy and tasty meal, including local products. After this contemplative break, we return to our boats to finish the day and complete our observations of seals, belugas and minke whales at sea.
When
Between 8h00 and 9h00 a.m.
The activity must have a minimum of 2 participants to take place. The participant will be contacted the day before the activity in case of cancellation due to lack of participants and a possibility to change the activity to a half-day could be offered.
Show up at the Mer et monde écotours tent on the beach in Tadoussac 30 minutes in advance.
Allow extra time to find parking in Tadoussac.
Duration
7 hours including 1 hour of land preparation (interpretation, clothing, kayak adjustment, safety rules) approximately 3 hours on the water and 3 hours on the trail.
Requirements
Minimum age 12 years old.
Each child under the age of 14 must be paired with an adult.
It is at the discretion of the on-site staff to refuse to pair participants between the ages of 14 and 17 depending on weather conditions.
Level of diffculty : Easy-intermediate paddling and intermediate trecking.
Pregant women under 4 months or over 6 months is not recommended in sea kayaking activities.

Adults (14 and over) : 145.00$ + taxes (15%)
Children (under 14) : 109.00$ + taxes (15%)
A break of at least an hour and a half where you will enjoy a healthy meal including local products will be enjoyed at mid-day. In case of intolerance, allergies or vegetarianism, please contact 418-232-6779 or indicate it in the general comment tab of your online reservation. An option with tofu is available upon request. A $15 credit will be given to your reservation if you need to bring your own lunch.
Recommended equipment (not included)
Equipment provided includes a wetsuit, windbreaker, floatation jacket, neoprene booties, skirt and all navigation equipment (paddle and sea kayak).
For your comfort on warmer days, it is suggested to bring thin synthetic underwear or a swimsuit (avoid cotton), a cap, a pair of sunglasses, a bottle of water and sunscreen.
For cooler days, add thicker synthetic clothing, a warm fleece-type sweater, wool or synthetic socks, a hat, a toque or a cap.
For the hiking portion, bring hiking boots, clothing and a daypack.
